The purpose of the School Resource Officer (SRO) Program is
to provide a safe learninng environment and help reduce school
violence; improve school-law enforcement collaboration on issues
impacting students, staff, and the local community; improve the
perceptions and relations between students, school faculty,
parents and law enforcement officials; and, provide a resource
for students, school faculty, parents, law enforcement and other
governmental agencies.
The Phoenix Police Department is committed to
protect, preserve, and safeguard all citizens with courteous law
enforcement. We shall ensure public safety and provide
quality service to our community with integrity and
professionalism. We value the life and dignity of each
